Michigan In Game Thread

Meh. Missed on QB. Can’t develop an OL overnight. Not everyone can bring their future 1st round pick QB son with them. Lack of skill position recruiting is glaring though.
Our OL has sucked since Riley was here. We keep on recruiting locals at the skill positions who are not definitely on the same level as kids in the South, but our inbred fan base keeps on insisting that we offer and recruit these kids because it's a feel-good story. I feel it's time to take a hard look in the mirror and reevaluate our recruiting and development strategy going forward.

Everyone knew Michigan was better, but how we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot is infuriating. We spot the #2 team in the country 14 points. Commit procedural penalties in the red zone, somehow turn a can’t miss field goal kicker into a fucking basket case, turn every awkward 50/50 bounce into fortune for the other team.

Just once I’d love to play a clean game that doesn’t feel like we gave it away.
I hear you. But we did not give this game away. Tremendous talent gap

Because dipshit fans try to compare Rhules first year to what Deion is doing at Colorado (like they are comparable) and then they label Rhule as an abject failure 5 games into his tenure.
Well, Deion is a better coach than Rhule whether Nebraska fans want to accept it or not.

There's just nothing the offense does that makes them look competent. This scheme looks basic as fuck and they can't even execute it at a minimum level. We struggle handling the snap now than any team I've seen this year and get the most untimely penalties

There's a reason offenses keep evolving in the exact opposite direction of what we're trying to do
Scheme is about reason number 4 or 5 for our offensive ineptitude.

Only in Nebraska can you be rewarded for 25 years of impotence and futility with state of the art facilities and over half a billion in upgrades.

they should consider themselves lucky if they got this:

I’ve already said in this thread. Fuck the upgrades, start buying elite 4* and 5* players. You already lost a generation of fans after blowing ass for 2 decades. Anymore mediocrity and or shit records and not only is your donor pool gonna fry up but so will your fans.
