Didn't Sam and LH? give the Pelinis ShortBus's info and that's what led to the infamous Cornhusker basement incident.

SamIam to Cotton to Pelini to Jamrog & the front desk clerk at the hotel, were all involved. The name on the room wasn't even in his (shortbus') name.

To top it off, this happened the same weekend (2010 Texas game) some of the family members of Jackie Guaghan were in Lincoln - and, drumroll - shortbus worked for the family. It wasn't too many years before their foundation donated a chunk for the JG Multicultural Center.

Absolute shit show. Shortbus first came to the tailgate I was at. Then a Guaghan, and his phone was blowing up by the highest of high UNL officials, which included TO. I remember it like yesterday and yes, SIA eventually showed up in his velcro shoes.

I would, but my memory of it all is sketchy. I remember the incident at the hotel. I remembered it was Sam and ShortBus. I remember it leading to Bo blowing a winnable game. That’s about it

I can give a decent cliffs. NCIU (inside board) was in its heyday. They were sourced from inside the program. I was on NCIU in those days and the info was good. ShortBus/TylerDurden runs NCIU. Bo was furious about the info they were receiving/posting and found out Durden’s contact info. Called him to meet in basement of Cornhusker on the morning of the 2010 Texas game(keep in mind this was to be our payback game after getting fucked for the extra second in the 2009 Big 12 title game). When Durden showed up there was either uniformed LPD or Lancaster Co. deputy(s)? present along with Bo in a conference room IIRC. Bo went full Bo and threatened him with all he had to stay the fuck away from his program. One of my good buddies was a frat bro with Durden and they sat together at the game. I will never forget getting a text from him right before kickoff explaining what happened to Durden. I didn’t believe it for quite sometime. Thought my buddy was fucking with me. Nebraska laid a complete egg that day against Texas. It was foreshadowing how Bo’s fragile mental state could so drastically affect the way his teams performed when he would lose it.

Side note, last I knew LH and Durden were still friends. I have seen them interact on social media at times anyway. Don’t know either of them well personally, just know of them.
Perhaps they are douchey but both are successful and quite likeable from everything I’ve been told by personal friends who are not douchey.
