Doubt they use him on defense; the guy has offense written all over him. He was originally recruited by MJ when he was the head coach.

Smith is listed as an athlete; he is 6-foot-3, around 200 pounds, and lines up as an X, Y, Z, slot, and H-back. As a junior, he caught 46 receptions for 845 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is a good route-runner, has soft hands, and can block.

TE is my guess, but he can be used like Janiran Bonner. He has the size of former Husker Stanley Jean Baptiste so he could also play Cornerback.
Also reminds me of a Kyler Reed.

My favorite thing about all these crootin service now is basically everyone is a 4 star somewhere
I know what you mean...it's a little ridiculous. But it makes you realize that the difference between these fringe 4-star and 3-star players is not much at all.
This kid is a great example. He is a high 3-star on both Rivals and 247, but On3 has him as a top 250 4-star. The kid has 17 P5 offers, not including Houston and BYU (who will be P5 when he is playing).

Just because of the numbers, 3 stars make up the majority of P5 players and the majority of s star players are in P5. It's no surprise 3 stars get a lot of P5 offers
