If Rhule would actually allow that I think Bud would do it for free. That would be fuckin awesome.
I assume he'd be against it bc Rhule patterns the program after NOT doing that stuff. I think he's pitching this as a battle of substance vs style (even though he said in the presser it was NOT that - he was lying).
But fuck man that would be unbelievable. Also would be huge for recruiting w the kids we have coming in.

Bud is exactly the kind of guy to typify what Rhule wants out of this program. Nothing was ever given to him. He's never been the darling of the boxing press. He's nowhere near as huge a star as he should be. He has just spent 20 years working his ass off, taking on every challenge he could find, and squeezing every drop out of his God-given ability. We should have him on the sideline every week.

Rhule even said this week he showed the team Bud's fight against Spence as an example of taking care of business wothout a lot of fancy flash, being patient and staying within himself until the moment comes to strike. Having Bud lead the team out would be very appropriate, especially just after Rhule used him as a example for the team.

Hey, I'm not arguing. I think it would be awesome.
Memorial Stadium would hit a new decibel level the second Bud showed up in the tunnel on the video board. It would shatter the dB record for the stadium. Would pump our guys up too.
Bud would have a custom made Cornhusker red boxing hoodie. The gloves on. It'd be fucking amazing.
