Lincoln Memories

Richmond Gordman - place available for you to stand and play Atari for hours while your Mom shopped. Montgomery Wards - tough shit... Sears was also a mecca for being able to stand around and play Atari while your Mom shopped...well, until that Adam Walsh kid went missing...
Yeah, unfortunately the early 80's were they heyday for kidnappers. Adam Walsh, Johnny Gosch, the kids Joubert killed in Omaha, etc. Really ruined it for the vans with blacked out windows business.

Speaking of Havelock, I recently had pizza at The Isles and it is as good as ever. Good to hear places like The Tam O’Shanter and Lazzari’s are still going strong.
Also speaking of havelock

Montgomery Wards...good Lord. Used to love the bra and panty section of their catalog in the 1970's

Until Spiegel's came out. Just saying.
“Ward’s”, as my Gramma called it, and Ben Franklin were a few of my favorite baseball card hook ups.

Also (I don’t think you guys had one of these in Omaha), but Service Merchandise was a solid place to get GI Joes and Transformers.
