Somebody on TPB had the rumor that Alberts already had Campbell ready to go last DEC but then the boosters pulled the $$$. Who was that?

If we're already thinking Campbell at this early stage then that would back that theory up.

Thanks Garrett. There was another one around JAN 2022, where the TPB poster said that Alberts had already hand picked Campbell and that Campbell had verbally agreed. But then Peed family or whoever strong armed Turd into keeping Frost another year, so that all went out the window.

I just can't remember who shared that. If Turd already decided on Campbell as of today that would definitely back that other rumor up.

No what I’m saying is Turd said “hey if I can get MJ here would you want to retain him?” And Campbell said yes. Then Turd gave assurance to Mick that he’d be retained when Scott was fired.

I will never believe that Mick would have come here without some sort of assurance he’d be here more than one season.

Seriously if Turd hires coach whoever and sells us on all of his great attributes and makes a deal he needs to retain an assistant or two what the fuck does that say about his hire? Now if the coach takes over and thinks there is someone worth keeping fine but it shouldn’t be part of any deal before he takes the job.

Also you have to wait and see how the HC does too: if Campbell goes 6-6 this year then you can't bring him here. If Aranda goes 6-6 you can't bring him here. We did this with Riley where you brought in a guy who's record had started declining and we saw how that worked.
