Welcome to The Platinum Board. We are a Nebraska Husker news source and fan community.
Sign Up Now!There still is around 30 2026's coming in this month. Looks like they are bringing in most of the 2027's at the same time. A lot going on this weekend.Recruiting 2027 more than 2026
Starting to feel like they want more transfers than recruits in this small class
sounds like Georgia is 6/6 (or maybe a mid-week this week?). Since Florida and OU are 6/13 and 6/20, that might leave mid-week visits for Nebraska and Texas if nothing changes.
It’s the owner of Yella Wood that lines those coffers. He calls the shots. They also used to have a really "unfair competitive advantage" pre-NIL for getting bags of $$$ to 'croots. IIRC, a wealthy alum either owns outright or is a major hitter in one of the gaming/casino operations down that way. Apparently, people associated with their top recruits (since the 'croots were too young to get into a casino) were directed to play certain machines at certain times. Imagine that - they WON, with promises of more to come if you commit to play ball at AU.
Honestly, pretty slick setup and I was a little jelly when I first heard about it.
You are.Seems like we’re on the outside looking in here.
He'll make it. He has no reason not to go through the process and take his scheduled OVs. He will be a "take" everywhere no matter how long he takes to decide. He's supposed to visit NU this weekend so we'll see if he makes it. There were two articles just today on On3 one from Fong about how well his visit went to Florida.

Blake Alderman, the author, is a super-optimist when it comes to Florida recruitingHe'll make it. He has no reason not to go through the process and take his scheduled OVs. He will be a "take" everywhere no matter how long he takes to decide.
I also do not see his comments about Florida as being different from typical post-visit comments.
My guess is that Florida is worried, because he hasn't decommitted and is taking 3 visits after his Florida visit.
Even if he likes Florida, he has to wonder if the current staff will still be there a year from now. Everyone else is wondering that. They only have 4 commits, and they have already hosted 23 OVs. They have more scheduled OVs left to go than we scheduled in total.
So seriously, how does it work if kid has his own contract with Adidas but goes to a Nike school? Is he allowed to wear his Adidas shoes during a game? I suppose Adidas would have to be OK with him wearing a uniform with a Nike swoosh.Seriously, LSU might be doomed here. Miami (Adidas), Texas A&M (Adidas) and Tennessee (NIKE) are all trying very hard to flip him from LSU. But I like the "Raiola to Keys 'Adidas Connection"'
No, they still wear the schools shoes. Supposedly Cooper Flagg got paid like $13 million from new balance, but still had to wear Nike for every Duke game.So seriously, how does it work if kid has his own contract with Adidas but goes to a Nike school? Kinda reminds me of the Dream Team in '92. Reebok sponsored the Olympic team and the team wore Reebok track suits when accepting their medals. Except the guys with contracts with other brands like Nike or Converse were given American flags to drape over their shoulder to cover up the Reebok logo.
