Tweet is gone now. Whatd it say.
He was apologizing to the fans at Oregon St saying he wished the team and his family there a good season, but he made a mistake. Said he talked to a family member who is a coach there and he understood. Said his change of mind had nothing to do with money and told fans to leave his family out of it and to talk to him if they had to talk.

Wish I screenshotted it now

Coming in with the late offer on a top250 prospect. That always works.

Seems like a Hail Mary when they do this. My first thought is always if this guy is good why haven't we offered already.

a hail mary to even commit, but what about contribute? How many of the hail mary offers have actually contributed on the field? Can someone name a few? One?
Why is June considered a late offer? Sure, the vast majority of our offers are already out, but official offers haven't even been sent - how is this considered a late offer of hail mary?

Hail Mary because there is only a small chance that it will be successful. Its fine to make the offer but they have little to no relationship with him and if they did
why did they wait till now to offer. More than likely the first time they looked at him or his film is after he decommitted from Auburn.

It also shows me that they have missed out on their top targets and now they are having to offer recruits they have little chance with to fill spots late in the cycle. It's not like we haven't seen this happen before.

Like I said making the offer is fine but it's a low percentage one. We are not at the point yet that we can come in late and be able pull high level recruits without having some kind of prior relationship unfortunately.

TLDR version -
Looks like the guy is going to USC.
