I know this kid transferred into Lincoln HS before last season from Detroit. Does anyone know his story? His measureable are fantastic, but can't find much on him. Looks like he has played QB, RB, CB and safety.

Hudl link:

His "about" lists 3 different MI high schools, so possibly bouncing around is why there's not as good a collection of info.

If you go to his instagram (d1._k1), there are a few videos of his visits to different schools.

I heard this guy is camping today. He is blowing up, got 8 offers (G5 and FCS) since May 5. He had a very good showing at KU's mega-camp Wednesday.

Kansas 247 coverage of him at camp (Panagos is Kansas DL coach):

Eltoum Murgus from North Kansas City had some good reps in one on ones. Jim Panagos was working with him a lot and clearly has a relationship with the player. Murgus is very thin at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds but he’s athletic off the edge. He’s picked up three FBS offers and some FCS opportunities this summer.

The 48.95 - good enough for a gold medal in a Missouri district in the 400M - is especially impressive

Sounds like he could carry a lot more weight. Be interesting to see if his name comes up today.

Several of 247Sports analysts at the Elite 11 have been impressed by what they’ve seen from Nebraska commit Daniel Kaelin after the first couple days of competition.

The quarterback started slow on Wednesday but had a big Thursday during the Pro Day competition and on Friday afternoon he was still impressing with some accurate throws while pushing the ball down the field.

Here’s what three different analysts had to say after watching Kaelin across the first couple of days:

Andrew Ivins, 247Sports Director of Scouting

“He’s definitely caught my eye out here. I know he hasn’t made our top group, but he’s knocking on the door and part of the conversation for those final few spots.

“I thought he looked like he belonged on the field during Wednesday’s three-hour workout just with his size and velocity. We had him tied for the fourth-highest score during Thursday’s scripted, 20-throw Pro Day and looking back on it, it really was one of the more impressive outings.

“I think Nebraska fans should be excited about Kaelin. There’s definitely some upside there and would not be surprised if he has a big senior season.”

Greg Biggins, National Recruiting Analyst

“I like Daniel. I’ve seen him a couple times previously and in this setting I think he fits in really well. He hasn’t made the Top 10 but he’s been on that bubble.

“I think he’s got one of the stronger arms. Pure pocket guy. During the pro day the throws he struggled with — struggle might be too strong of a word — the throws he may have missed were outside the pocket rolling right and rolling left. I don’t think that’s his strength right now, but as a pure drop back guy he gets the ball out early and he gets the ball out on time. He’s accurate. He’s got a really strong arm. He has one of the strongest arms here.

“Great kid. The coaches and counselors all love him. Coachable. And I think he projects well. He’s going to be that guy who’s going to be a natural leader and a great teammate. A lot of arm talent. Pretty natural in how he throws the football in this setting.”

Cooper Petagna, National Recruiting Analyst

“I don’t think a lot of people have talked about Daniel Kaelin out of the state of Nebraska. 6-foot-3. Big arm. Big frame. He showed it tonight.

“A little bit of up and down which is what we expected. He’s got some things to clean up mechanically with his footwork but the positive thing about that is it’s all coachable.

“He’s got traits that you can’t teach. That arm pop. Matt Rhule, when you look back in three or four years, I think Nebraska got a steal here. Sure that guy is in-state, but you’ve got to do your homework. You’ve got to get it right. I expect him to continue to progress throughout the week.”

Callahan just started following this guy this afternoon, so this has to be a Camp offer - another safety
