IMO this is great news.
I saw that. It doesn’t sound like it’s because of any info though, just going off the Athens buzzGreg Smith put a FeatureCast for Carter Nelson to Georgia this morning
unfortunately it's logical. They are 72-10 over the last six years, we haven't even been to a bowl game in that time.I saw that. It doesn’t sound like it’s because of any info though, just going off the Athens buzz
I think he was leaning Goergia in everyone's mind until they got the second TE. Greg mentioned it turns out there is still a spot. It's really not a change in viewpointI saw that. It doesn’t sound like it’s because of any info though, just going off the Athens buzz
Carter Benedict Nelson, UGA apologist and dark lord. This would be the biggest betrayal of Nebraska since Hausmann and lots of people are saying maybe even worse

Why should he come here and miss the chance to be at the absolute pinnacle of the sport?
It's an amazing opportunity for him.
I think it would definitely be frowned upon by many of our fanbase. Western Nebraska kid turning his back on the team he grew up rooting for that has a coaching staff known for utilizing his position. I can understand him being enamored with Georgia as they are building a juggernaut but honestly I don't see him getting near as much playing time there compared to Nebraska. They already have 2 highly rated TE's in this class and now dangling the "Big WR" position as enticement. No risk for them as in a year or 2 they will tell him to hit the bricks if he hasn't cracked the Top 2 at his position. Even if we turn the corner and are 10-3 in year 2 of HCMR we still probably won't be recruiting at the level of a Georgia. And our TE room is not deep on athletic talent like his. Georgia teams will be stacked with talent along with new incoming talent of highly rated recruits. He can go to Georgia and be another piece in the cog or he could go to Nebraska and possibly be one of the sticks that stirs the rise back to glory. This would be the biggest betrayal of Nebraska since Hausmann and lots of people are saying maybe even worse
Just the natural progression of being the top dog in college football. You can pull kids from wherever.Getting awfully tired of getting cucked by Georgia. What's Kirby's deal? Is he trolling us since we took some of his transfers he wasn't going to play anyways? Go pick on someone your own size.
He did better this past year but still doesn't absolutely dominate like you'd expect a guy that's been getting recruited since his freshman year to against kids literally 6 inches shorter than him. I love his ceiling personally, but thinks he's got a ways to go to be a great football player yet.Would suck if Carter Nelson went to Georgia.
Tight end is basically the best position in the state of Nebraska to recruit so I don't worry about Nebraska finding good tight ends. But sounds like he's an absolute elite talent.
8 man kid going to Georgia...do he just absolutely pulverize 8 man Nebraska football?
I think we’re planning to use him the same way Georgia is TBHI think it would definitely be frowned upon by many of our fanbase.
