No one took him seriously before March. He played for an independent school in Florida's smallest school division; they were 10-0 but only ranked 43rd (!!) in the Orlando metro by MaxPreps. In late February he attended an Under Armor camp in Orlando and was outstanding; he was named the MVP of DBs at the Camp (and he tested off the charts). That's when everyone else got interested.
My guess was he also became more expensive, so that may be a silver lining given the guys we are trying to flip.
I will say no one has ever seen him play a season against good competition. That being said, I have no reason to believe he won't be a great college CB.
Today is the last day of Sone's official visit to Florida. He's unlikely to commit before September now, and is likely to OV to Georgia and Ohio St besides OU this weekend.
