  1. Dell Husker Dell Husker
Your facilities are not as good as ours.
Need you to explain this one to me. Very true during Richt years. UGA has done nothing but throw money after more money into building and expanding facilities since Smart arrived. I watched video of N's facilities last year (?) and it was impressive, but I didn't come away thinking it was better. I'm genuinely asking btw, and curious.

On Sone, our board guys are very optimistic. I've watched too many of these kind of recruiting battles against Nebraska that have gone Husker's way to share optimism. Even if he commits I'll believe it when he's on campus with his belongings in a drawer. Also, like you've pointed out DL recruits at UGA in 2026 are booming, so although our guys say that doesn't matter to Sone I'm not so sure.

Weather is better if you like sweat sticking to your rump immediately when you step outside for 8 months of the year.

Also, town is not better
Agree on the weather, but brother.. Athens is elite as far as school towns go. Also, that same miserable humidity and heat causes the girls to dress in their anti-Sundays finest. As an adult with my Athens school days pretty far back in the mirror, it isn't somewhere I'd choose to live. But, 18 year old Sauce was in heaven there. These days I'm more of a Petosky Michigan kind of guy if I have to live in a town or city. Dry Summer air, and actual cold air and snow in Winter.

Southern Girls > Nebraska Girls. Couldn't agree more about the dry climate.

the entire coast of Little Traverse Bay from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs is nice.

Mackinaw City going West along the Coast down to Traverse City is amazing. Hell, Cheboygan going East along Huron Coast to Alpena is dope as hell too. Been looking for a house now for over a year on that side on the coast.

Huron is very nice, agreed; the biggest difference is that you are more isolated there. Fewer towns, restaurants, etc, I like the northern part of the Leelanau Peninsula as well. Extremely dark skies, Milky Way casts a shadow kind of dark.

Interesting. Weren’t people thinking Oregon?

surprise wtf GIF

Utah?!

Plenty of high level recruits that have toured around the country have repeatedly said that Nebraska currently has the best facilities in America.

If he gets Sone all is forgiven
Not to get greedy but they had a couple more DL/Edge that Georgia offered that they haven't taken in their haul yet.

On the bucket list. I'm going up twice, Summer's end and then for Salmon run early October. I think I'm going to plan a week or two camping on Leelanau next Spring. I like isolation. Not as many people around to give me a hard time for not wearing any clothes.

Same for Athens, NFL recruits, etc. I think for elite facilities that is the norm. I'm genuinely curious for a comparison. I would love to set my eyes on both in person, but that'll never happen. We need a Facilities thread.

Probably need to go through breakdown to get a good picture.
