Correct. He also spent 2 seasons as a college DL coach before joining the Panthers.

He was also all conference in college, a 3rd round draft pick, all rookie and 8 seasons in the NFL. He brought instant clout...

I’m not sure why people have a hard time understanding that when you have a 39 year old Ace recruiter that has the same DC experience who as the 51 year old who’s been passed over for each DC spot he’s gone after and hasn’t recruited in over a decade.

Now throw in that the 39 year old was the interim HC at an SEC school after earning Co-DC title at that same school, named top recruiter in the country while at AtM and has an insanely higher amount of upside.

This really isn’t that hard…

Something nobody brings up- when has Matt Rhule had a bad defense? He is a defensive oriented coach. This infuriates the @sandyvaginacrew.

If it’s fair to whine that JB hasn’t had DC experience ( except for a great job at PSU in 2013), it’s fair to trust Rhule and the hire knowing he has never coached a bad D in college.

Rhule knows defense. You guys do not
