I 100% agree with you. Yes, NIL allows us to carry more than 85 scholarship-worthy players. But all the top players with 3-4 years of remaining eligibility require a schollie, and they keep them once they get them.

This conclusion, which Callahan also is endorsing, is a misleading oversimplification,
