If that’s the case, I assume he will NOT be here this fall then? If he was a non-qualifier out of HS, he would have to get his associates degree from JUCO before becoming eligible, right? He would not be able to transfer to a 4-year school after his freshman year.
Then he must have been a qualifier out of high school, right? So it wasn’t grades that forced him into JUCO. Otherwise he wouldn’t be able to transfer to a 4-year school after one year.

the way he puts it in the interview was that he had P5 schools he could get into but his grades weren't good enough to be on the team. That could mean he was a non-qualifier, or it could mean the schools had higher standards than qualifier, or it could mean they thought he was a non-qualifier and our people found a way to re-construct the analysis so he qualified. It sounded like we wouldn't offer until we knew he could play this fall. But it also sounded like he knew when he went to our camp that he could play this fall.
If people's hunches that Henrich and/or Reimer may hang them up before the season starts, that probably means Sherman stays at Jack like he was in the spring, and Butler stays at LB. Depending on this guys actual size (235 or 250) he could play a role this year for us at DE.
