Suck it American League! Didn't know where else to post so brought it here. Gas stations in Austin have better brisket than most States out there.

East coast (northeast) girls… Yikes, run away as fast as you can
My New Jersey girl was really cool and a good person. Just had a temper that I couldn't live with. She was sexy as hell, dark skin, thick long black hair, great body. I took the relationship as far as I could handle. It was tough breaking that one off. I owe her temper to her Italian blood, fairly or unfairly. Still friends with her, but wife not ok with close friendship haha. One of her best friends from back home lives here in Asheville and is one of my favorite people, and married a good friend of mine. So, not all the worst. The worst are my two different ex girlfriends (3 years and 2 years) from back home in Georgia. Truly both terrible, and one of them is the spawn of Satan. They were earlier in my life before I found out attractive and sexy women that also were good people existed.

The “Midwest” doesn’t even have a culture. Much less decent food. Anytime I ever found anything decent to eat in any of the flat land hell holes was in a black neighborhood soul food restaurant. I do like the women with that nasally whiny Yankee voice. Everyone looks alike up there.

I don't even know how to start comparing the two areas' "food dishes" to make this a fair vote.

There are going to be some thing thats the Midwest does better while there are a lot more things that South does better.

Steaks? Midwest.
Fish? South.

Cajun Shrimp and Grits? Hell ya the South.
Chili and Cinnamon Rolls? Midwest.

I said maybe, but I think the South wins easily.

Everyones thinking about this from a BBQ perspective. Chicago is part of the midwest and beats the fuck out of any city in the south food wise.

NOLA is on a short list of top in the US but isn't even close to Chicago.

You can turn any midwestern food into a southern food by just dunking it in a deep fat fryer for 10 minutes. Most southern food that isn't disgustingly bland or disgustingly sweet is just something mediocre that has been breaded and fried. Doesn't make it good food

Why does southern food have so much seasoning

Except pizza is shit and their hotdogs have a damn salad on the top. I can't get past that. Big cities are going to have great food from all over. Speaking more regional food, what else is Chicago known for. Legit asking because pizza and dogs is only thing I know for regional, and those aren't going in my mouth again.

This is wrong and your perception. Despite that, most Southern food isn't deep fried. Don't discount fried food though. I like Wisconsin fried cheese curds.
