This game was INCREDIBLE, the best game I've played on NCAA 14 in quite a while...can Nebraska get BOWL ELIGIBLE with a win in Minnesota?!

my Dad would have thrown something when you passed the ball on the 2pt attempt

lmao. Luckily it didn’t bite me. I never feel comfortable running for a two pointer. And to be fair the first one HIT THE RECEIVER IN THE HANDS!

he would have thrown the remote or a pillow and then grumbled about the 1983 game vs miami "should have ran an option with Gill and Kinney while he was making himself another Scotch and Coke Zero (Valentine class class class)

It is SENIOR DAY in Lincoln, and we're wearing ALL REDS baby!! I think the last time Nebraska did this, it ended poorly. Can we flip the script this time?

YOU DIDNT HAVE TO MAKE IT SO REALISTIC @joshuahuskers 😢

This one hurt my heart, man. I use an alternate kicking system that makes kicking much harder than the base system, and it was awful this game.

It’s not 100% realistic because we are still going to a bowl game though! And the failures now will make the success sweeter when we turn it around.

you need to run trips right, Y and Z run post routes and X runs an out route

I believe the play used to be called "circus" and was in the hail mary plays page

then you audible into what I just said and if you haven't run it in successive plays the out route is almost always open cuz the AI defense will follow the post routes to the middle of the field and leave your out route wide open (put your fastest WR at WR#3)

I haven't played since like 2012 tho (the actual year) but that was my get out of jail free card when I was playing online dynasty mode with a group of friends. (on heisman mode, so the defense was legit)

lol, yeah, there are tons of “money” plays in NCAA 14 because the AI is broken in a lot of ways. I intentionally don’t run those plays because to me it ruins the fun. I have a whole laundry list of “house rules” from gameplay, to recruiting, to roster management, to player development. I try to play as close to true “sim” as I can. For example, In my team builder dynasty, I have 2 national titles in 35 years, which to me is great. Although I may have made things too realistic with Nebraska’s red zone incompetence in this series, lol.

I am a HUGE dynasty nerd/window licker though, and I do understand that not everyone likes to play the way I do, so to each their own - whatever makes it fun!

the group of guys I played with instituted a "must have a QB play QB rule" on me after I won the heisman 3 years in a row running the option at Notre Dame with my fastest player (WR or RB) playing QB

especially since I was at Notre Dame and was killing it in recruiting

just like Regan said: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

SMH just wanna Run the Damn Ball

Ha! You can actually find ATHs to recruit that will have elite speed and can also throw, so you just move them to QB. #RunTheDamnBall

Ha! I just started reading this thread. Awesome work Josh. Like you I’m a NCAA football nerd, I just don’t record myself playing. I’m my own head coach (started as OC for Frost, won a Natty in year-2 as coordinator, went to Cincinnati, went to the Natty but lost. Frost gets fired 3-years later and I take back over at Nebraska. I end up winning 3 natties in 5 seasons, hire Frost back as an OC, win another title, he takes a HC job at Louisiana Tech and is on the hot seat after 2 seasons.

Mickey Joseph was my OC last year with Daniel Bullock as my DC. After we win the title Joseph becomes the HC at Cincinnati and Bullock goes to Notre Dame. I now have Joe Ganz as my OC and Jason Peter as my DC.

Haha that is great, moral of the story is frost sucks as a HC!
