I have a friend who is pretty big in the Twitch world (he quit his full time job at Pinnacle Bank Corporate to stream full time)


He was like you at first, 50-100 vies per vid but slowly growing then somehow his account was retweeted or viewed enough to get put into the random algorithm and then BOOM he suddenly was getting 2,000+ per stream and just kept building from there until he could quit his day job cuz the money was equal/greater than.



He is living his dream now, still puts in like 50+ hour weeks (more if you include social media presence) but he is doing what he loves

Dang, that is awesome. I will never get like that I’m sure, and there are a TON of people doing sports gaming content, so it’s pretty saturated and competitive. You basically had to be one of the first to do it, or like you said have some algo decide you’re cool haha.
