Headed to London in three weeks.....

Had big plans to watch with my father in law like we do every year at a local bar/restaurant, but he is a bit under the weather so those plans got nixxed. Probably just watch it at home with my son who is becoming a bigger fan of the game all the time.

I don't support either team but will root for RM because of Luka Modric.
Are you Croatian? Why would you like that 37 year old weirdo. Can’t believe madrid won that game

I am not Croatian and Luka is one of the best players on the planet for the last decade. He does things in each game that most players wish they could do once a season.

Madrid won because Courtios was unbeatable. Carvahal put in a performance at RB and Liverpool brought on Keita in the second half who then proceeded to play like a Sunday league amateur.

There are all the obvious famous spots: Big Ben & Parliment, Tower of London, the Eye, the Shard, 221 B Baker St, Buckingham, Wembley, Wimbledon, etc and spend a ton of money shopping at Piccadilly and Covent. (I fucking hate both of them)

But here are some that I think would be fun for everybody

Wife: take her to a West end show just to say you did it + wife will probably like it. (similar to Broadway, women usually are into that shit)

Boys: Tons of cool Museums, based on their age I’m assuming they don’t think Dinosaurs are cool anymore but would fucking love the Military museums and world history ones. (Just don’t ask how the British got all the “artifacts” and “jewels” from around the world…)

Based on when you are going: go see the Gardens, any of the Royal gardens are insane but Kew is my favorite. It’s a huge botanical garden. (makes Lauritzen in Swimtown look like a backyard)

PS: if you can, get out of London for at least 1 day, “rural” England is far superior. (Air quotes around “rural” cuz nowhere in the UK is “rural” like we think of the term, too many people and in close proximity compared to here)

You truly are a Renaissance man, giah.

I still remember the time I had my shoulder surgery and recovery for 2 weeks.

Chauvinist Pig from the MB and I were both off for 2 weeks and we watched every episode of Justified (back when it was on Amazon Prime) and then we would talk about the latest episode.

I was high on pain killers so it was great cinema.
