Headed to London in three weeks.....

Indian food here is legit.

I enjoy bangers and mash.

Blood sausage there is usually really good if your into that kind of thing.

Their fish and chips are night and day better than anything I’ve had here.

“Oh ya bloke, let’s watch a football game at the pub, drink over men kickin a ball around for 90 minutes and then go bang at a disco “

A lot of great recommendations here. I lived/worked in London for a couple of years in my past life and the best advice I can give you is to just buy a full pass for the tubes, grab a map, and go see whatever you want on your own as opposed to taking a double decker bus tour. When I first moved there, that's what I did and it was the best. It gave you the chance to just take your time at wherever you wanted to spend it instead of being on someone else's schedule.

Places like Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, or St. James Park are really cool and you can find yourself wanting to spend more time there. Just walking up and down the Thames River is awesome. Lots of stuff there from Tower Bridge (don't confuse this for London Bridge, which isn't anything special), to the Eye of London, to the Globe Theater, to all of the cool vendors. I'm a huge Shakespeare buff, so the Globe Theater was awesome for me.

As mentioned, the West End is really cool. Don't buy full priced tickets, there are tons of discount ticket brokers down there.

We didn't get out of it completely but I told my wife I don't want to get stuck in lines if possible. She said let's go up the Effel Tower...nope but we can go look at it...We are in Paris for a day so it's a no go on lines.

So did my wife and I, on top of the Shard. Which was a cool building to check out
I surprised her after we saw Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre. It’s all about pictures for her so we were dressed up and I had it all planned out with her best friend and her husband. Then proceeded to celebrate the next 10 days between London and Paris.

At least OP isn't guy who is traveling to an exotic place during football season and needs to inquire as to where to watch the game.

"Hey guys I'm going to Zermatt to scale the Matterhorn in October, are there any good Husker bars?"
I'm going to be half way up Mt Kilimanjaro the weekend of the North Dakota game, anyone know a place I can watch the Fighting Hawks end Frost's career?

The Champions League Final is on May 28th and will most likely feature two English teams. (Albeit niether from London)

Being at the pub for the game would probably be a pretty wild time especially if you find some fans of one of the teams. (Be careful with that though)

Now the rest of you can decide, was this a serious suggestion or smartass?
Are You going to watch this madness at a pub?

Had big plans to watch with my father in law like we do every year at a local bar/restaurant, but he is a bit under the weather so those plans got nixxed. Probably just watch it at home with my son who is becoming a bigger fan of the game all the time.

I don't support either team but will root for RM because of Luka Modric.
