Brian Kelly is a perfect example of a good coach who is NOT going to cut it in the SEC.

he makes the least authentic good ole boy I've ever seen. he's cut out to recruit the prep schools of the upper Midwest and northeast, which is perfect at Notre Dame. you're telling me this guy is going to go into high schools deep in the bayou, where the English spoken is nearly a different language altogether, and pull in those swamp monsters? they're going to see right through him. Orgeron was the perfect person for this, you could barely understand him at baseline, I can't imagine when he really turned on the southern accent. Sucks he couldn't corch a lick.

He's a really good coach.

He should stop trying to be a good old boy and just be himself. Let his assistants do that shit. His best attributes: He's upfront, gruff and gets a lot out of kids. His worst attributes: his southern accent and he killed a kid.

They need to burn that damn room. Get him a PR/Marketing firm that handles his social media. Then he just needs to worry about football.

I think he is a really good coach. He needs to focus on coaching and building the roster. I am actually curious what he can do at LSU. I mean the last 3 coaches have won Natties there and 2 of them were meh coaches.
