Gun to your head, which player starts in 2025, if both are healthy?

Sam Sledge or Justin Evans at Center? I realize Evans is going to start either way, but this decision likely determines Lutovsky's fate. Spindler is either going to start over Lutovsky or at RG while Evans moves to Center.

Keona Davis or Williams Nwaneri at LDE?

Elijah Jeudy or Riley Van Poppel at Nose?

Dasan McCullough or Willis McGahee at Jack?

Vincent Shavers or Maques Watson- Trent at WLB?

Andrew Marshall or Blye Hill at #2 Corner?
Evans at center because Rhule will put him in the position where he feels like he most likely succeed after college. Sledge backup LG eventually slides over to center.

It will be an interesting balancing act for the front seven. You have a group of young talented guys that you don't want to lose and a group of high payed transfers. Luckily they like to rotate a lot in those spots and some of these guys can play in multiple spots depending on the situation so it probably won't matter much who is actually listed at starter.

Davis with a heavy dose of Nwaneri as he gains experience.

RVP with Jeudy in rotation, maybe both depending on the situation.

McCullough with McGahee in rotation. But both can play multiple spots so they both could be on the field at the same time.

Shavers will be hard to keep off the field, Marques Marques-Trent in rotation or another spot.

Marshall with the starting experience. He will hopefully be the returner too. I think if Hill was the guy they wouldn't have been looking for so many CBs in the portal with starting experience.

IMO, Javin Wright and McGahee will be the odd men out and become a situational players. Best course of action for Nebraska to maximize speed and athletic ability is to have Shavers, Marques-Trent, and McCullough on the field at the same time.

Justin Evans

Keona Davis

Riley Van Poppel

Dasan McCullough

Maques Watson- Trent

Andrew Marshall

Flame me all you want but I think our Miami dudes are going to get every benefit of the doubt as it pertains to PT and starting

Our Miami recruiting is at a real inflection point. We are almost all the way back after the terrible way it went down in the Frost era. These 3: Barney, McGahee and Shavers will get every chance to shine.

We got Simpson and Terry Bradden as real links to the Miami area. A high profile yr from those 3 Miami guys and you are legit rolling with the 305 as a recruiting pipeline. I think those guys are almost auto starters on game 1.
Every time McGahee was on the field, he was making plays. He is undersized, but super-twitchy and instictive and has closing speed to the QB. He made Seaton from CU his bitch. I don't see how we're going to be able to keep him off the field.
