Sam Sledge or Justin Evans at Center? I realize Evans is going to start either way, but this decision likely determines Lutovsky's fate. Spindler is either going to start over Lutovsky or at RG while Evans moves to Center.

Keona Davis or Williams Nwaneri at LDE?

Elijah Jeudy or Riley Van Poppel at Nose?

Dasan McCullough or Willis McGahee at Jack?

Vincent Shavers or Maques Watson- Trent at WLB?

Andrew Marshall or Blye Hill at #2 Corner?

I say Sledge. JEJ > Lutovsky IMO so he stays at G.

Nwaneri but Davis routinely subs in.

RVP by a country mile

Shavers

Marshall

Some tough ones.

Sledge: Sounds like they really like him and JEJ has been solid already.

Nwaneri. Going back and forth here. I actually think we see em both on the field together often.

RVP. Similar to above. I think we see some interesting combinations of size and speed on the line this year, so wouldn't be surprised if both were on together often.

McGahee. I think McCullough gets moved around a ton.

Shavers. Again, I think there's a lot of rotation here though (I'm starting to see a pattern).

Marshall. Hill has never done it for me. I like his size but he didn't really pop when he actually did see the field.

Sledge gets the start at Center, JEJ at LG and Luto might get a look at RT if we are going with the best 5 theory.

Davis will be the DE...and I don't think he ever looks back. Nwaneri will play, and probably play a lot, but Davis will lock down his DE spot.

RVP at nose for sure. Jeudy is more of a 3-technique than he is a 0. I'd argue that both Jeudy and Nwaneri's roles will be greatly determined by how multiple Butler is on defense.

McGahee at JACK

Marques Watson-Trent will be our best player on defense.

I'm not convinced either Marshall or Hill will be corner #2, but if I have to pick, I'll say Hill.

Davis right now. Remind me after I've seen Nwaneri play.
Van Poppel
Can I move McCullough somewhere else? I want them both on the field.
Shavers
indifferent

Flame me all you want but I think our Miami dudes are going to get every benefit of the doubt as it pertains to PT and starting

Our Miami recruiting is at a real inflection point. We are almost all the way back after the terrible way it went down in the Frost era. These 3: Barney, McGahee and Shavers will get every chance to shine.

We got Simpson and Terry Bradden as real links to the Miami area. A high profile yr from those 3 Miami guys and you are legit rolling with the 305 as a recruiting pipeline. I think those guys are almost auto starters on game 1.
