I was wondering. On the rss thread it seems like he is saying it’s rules are rules with Gretna while basically saying there is nothing wrong with Omaha schools recruiting. I just skimmed the massive thread quick.

Wichita had gotten bad as well. Used to just be the private schools and inner city basketball. Now all the suburban schools are cheating. KSHSAA won’t ever do anything about it so why not?

I get the angst for Swimtown, KC and Lawrence. The only reason I like Lawrence is because I'm so hooked up in the town and with the University. Can get tickets to KU Basketball games. Know a ton of the bar/restaurant owners. My friends and relatives have that town dialed in but are growing tired of how difficult they are making it on businesses with all of their dumbass rules and taxes.

Seems like about half of Lawrence has come down to go boating and crash at my house. Ironic part is a bunch of them are thinking about moving down to the Lake after their kids get out of school. They are sick of the Liberal Mindset. Here's an example of the Liberal BS there. Last winter the city rented out a hotel to house the homeless during the cold snap. The homeless destroyed that hotel, so much destruction and theft. Over $1.4 million billed to the city. For less money they could have rented all of those homeless people Apartments for a year.

I got toasted on twitter once. Kid from Bishop Miege signed with Cockeye St, Cockeye St announced it on twitter with the town he lives in…30 minutes into Missouri. I commented something like “kid drives through past 3 high schools in Missouri to play football in Kansas”. His mom got on their and twitter yelled at me

Again, I have no dog in the fight. But I got the whole story from a regular at my clinic (from Westside) who basically spilled the whole story and was bragging about how “_______” caught wind of it and didn’t let the NSAA hear the end of it until they just gave in to appease him because “_______” is pretty good at leveraging social media and the news outlets to get his desired outcome.

The guy was bragging about it and came off as a huge douche. He thought he was convincing me that “_______” was doing some big favor to Nebraska high school sports but actually convinced me of exactly the opposite.

I spend every Monday in Lawrence (my wife manages a weight loss center in Lincoln and Lawrence). Last Monday, I took out middle daughter with us so I could show her around campus. Later, while we were walking down Mass, we stumbled across a restaurant that actually had a sign in the window saying that you had to show proof of vaccination to eat there...

Probably not but I love HS sports. Watch as much as I can. When I retire I will be the old guy that’s at every game
