He’s such a whiny little bitch. Can’t stand himHe's extremely petty. I think he always has been but over the last few years has done a poor job of hiding it, like he did throughout most of his career.

Took my second lesson today. Highly recommend anyone who has played for years and just tried to figure it out themselves to just take a lesson or two. Really learning a lot
I’d agree with most of this. The PGA had a model that benefited them and they thought no one would ever get upset about it. Is Phil a giant narcissist? Probably. Was he right about the things he complained with the PGA? Mostly. I know Phil is no where near the most hated guy on golf tours but most of this started when Shipnuck “allegedly” quoted Phil for his book and denied it.Sort of. What the tour did was akin to deferred maintenance. They should’ve been anticipating the transition to a post-Tiger era long before it happened. Instead, they got lazy and allowed themselves to get cucked by the Saudi’s. They’re lucky to still be around. If non-blood money had been behind LIV most everyone would’ve jumped. And what did it cost LIV, a few billion $? In terms of buying one of the top 4-5 sports leagues in the US, that’s an insanely good value.
As for Phil, his schtick worked for a long time, but the mask eventually came off. He’s the epitome of, “you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain.”
And he missed the cutDon’t look now, but Phil’s at T18 right now.
They don’t call him Phil the Thrill for nothingAnd he missed the cut
I don’t think that will happen. Too much pride at stake on both sides. I’ll be curious on what Bryson does after this year. Thought I read his contract with LIV is up. He said in an interview that he can see the value in what LIV provides and believes there is a place for team golf like the indoor league that was made.I thought PGA and Liv were merging?
They've agreed to an outline of a framework for potential further discussions on a merger at a later to be determined time subject to on going dialogue and other various factorsI thought PGA and Liv were merging?
Great finish. Didn't like how penal the rough was.
Agree. I enjoy The Masters the most of all the Majors, but The US Open and British Open (especially when the wind / rain is involved), is great tv. Loved the slick greens and rough!Love the carnage.
Carnage is fine, an automatic -.75 penalty down both sides of every fairway is not. Too binary, too redundant, and creates an unequal test of golf. The tournament basically came down to putting.Love the carnage.
Couldn’t disagree more. This was a true examination all the way through the bag and with every shot. Best US Open in a while. The answer is probably somewhere in the middle. This definitely wasn’t a true examination all the way through the bag, but it wasn’t all about putting either.Couldn’t disagree more. This was a true examination all the way through the bag and with every shot. Best US Open in a while. Fantastic!
