That is what I tried out. I liked them. Would order again.

Now you're going to push me to fenagle how I can acquire one of these beasts without dropping coin that would piss the wife off knowing we've another kid dropping in about 4 months.

So driver update - tried out the Ping G430 LST with the Ventus Velocore Blue 6x and hated it. Ended up in the new Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond with the Graphite Design Tour AD XC-6 and love it. Thanks for the advice, brother.
What’s the T stand for on the G440 LOW SPIN T? Tour?

So I’m attended my first The Masters Tournament (tm). Practice round only tickets for Monday, dad and I. Weather looks shit, of course.

Any must sees, and or do’s outside the obvious?
Jealous. Reminds me, there's a cool old man in Lincoln that you can still find roaming the bars who will bring his Augusta hole in one display out every year during the Masters.

Fucking Terry, you beauty.

My dad and I went in 2010. Buy a chair and put it on 16 tee. People will not mess with it, and you can use it whenever you want during the day. Love sitting behind the green on 13.

I liked walking the course first thing while legs were fresh. Loved sitting in the bleachers at 14 green watching players figure out that green. The area near 2g/3t/7g/8t allows you to see a lot of golf, too.

For the chair thing, you can bring your own. It just can’t have arms on it and if you put a business card on/in it you can always claim it as yours. I’ve only been to an actual round so I don’t know what demand will be but I’d suggest going early. Couple other things,
-Walk the entire course first. You have to see every part of it to really enjoys it’s beauty
-if you find a hot item in the merch shop you can buy as much as possible and sell it for more. The Peter Millar stuff generally goes for the most on the second market.
-Gotta try all the famous food but for sure the peach ice cream sandwich.
-you can bring a camera during practice rounds but enjoy not having your cell phone for a few hours.

I’m pretty jealous you’re getting to go with your dad. My dad passed before I went and Is the real reason I ever loved golf. Enjoy every minute with your old man because it’s a trip of a lifetime even just getting to go.

Brothers I broke and bought the Lab Oz.1i. I am justifying the purchasing and trying to dodge the buyers remorse that’s sure to follow because I found a 9.5 mint condition used one on 2ndswing.com with a $20 off coupon so didn’t have to pay the full $500 plus tax and shipping whip. No more putting like a complete tosser… maybe.

Just to get you in the mood, the Women’s Amateur is being played right now at Augusta on NBC. Course looks like perfection (of course).

I went a couple years ago for the monday practice round. some random thoughts

-the back nine is where most of the action and 75+% of the people will be. you can get really close to the action on the front because of that
-if you want to get a good spot anywhere around Amen corner you need to get there super early
-Amen corner actually kind of sucks since there's so many people and due to the layout you can't get very close to the action there
-spend some time on 16. most of the players will try to skip one off the water so that's fun to watch
-right by #16 is the #6 green and #7 tee and there were very few people there when I went, so those are great places to get close to the action #6 has one of the craziest greens that barely anyone talks about
-not far from there is #3. again, not many people so you can go to the left side of the fairway about 40 yards short of the green and get really close to the action. every single player that went through practiced that little pitch up to the green so if you want to see specific players this is a great spot
-the food is super cheap and convenient. plan on stuffing your face for about $50/person. the Crows Nest beer is made specially for the Masters and you can't get it anywhere else, so plan on having some of that
