Played at Elmwood Golf Course in Swimtown yesterday. Had a nice chip in birdie on hole 9.

But man, it's a City owned public golf course and it really felt like it. If you ball went into the rough even right off the fairway, good luck finding it.

It took us ten minutes to find our drives on 18 when they should have been right off the fairway or barely still on it. It wasn't until we were right ontop of the balls when we found them.
Weird how you always find them in the last place you look

Shiiiit. The club house was a fuckin double wide for 20 years. They should a been able to pay the new one with cash money
Don't know why they didn't make the new one bigger. Makes events tough.

Can't really say how the sand was. Scramble so never hit out of it. It was also raining off and on.
What amazes me is how small the trees are after 20+ years. Fairways and greens were in decent shape though. Didn't remember it being that short.

I say that to myself all the time the trees are tiny still. It quite honestly might be the easy course in the Omaha metro excluding par 3s.

Miracle Hills and Elmwood are pretty similar. Bigger trees though.

Fun fact, They teach this method to people who drop their club head on the backswing causing it to slice. Its to get used to the feel of a high club head. But not necessarily supposed to be used on the course. My Golf instructor had me do this for a while. fixed it on the range, then when got to the course all shit went out the window

Disagree. MH is so much better than Elmwood.

I think they are completely different courses. Elmwood is essentially an executive course that is really hilly and short. MH is more traditional but pretty flat in most areas.

I grew up playing Elmwood and will always love that course. The greens are incredible this year or at least they were last time I played.

Alright someone tell me how to fix a bad bad slice. I got it bad and it's got me down bad. I had it fixed for about a year and about a month ago it's come back. I swear I'm doing the same swing I had when I didn't have it.

I have never played golf in my 33 years. I bought clubs and went to the driving range. How do I get good?
