Didn't know if it was RSS conjecture or not, but I remember reading about him wearing a MAGA hat in the offices and it not going down well with some players.

FWIW from people actually within the program, Gerrod is actually pretty good at his job.
He does come off as an ass to people outside the program but that is part of his role to be honest. And for those that wonder what his role is, he coordinates a lot of the day-to-day operations and also acts as a buffer between the fish bowl and the fish so to speak.
Right or wrong, messaging from within the program needs to be done a certain way to control the perception of the program. Gerrod takes a pretty hard line in this regard which rubs people the wrong way, but it’s probably better for the program than whoever the fuck was in charge during the ice cream Mike era.
It’s frustrating when Waterboy says he can’t tell me something or I can’t post about something but I get it. He’s basically scared shitless of the guy but also respects the job he does.
And if this is true it’s pretty interesting. I don’t know that it’s as much of an indictment on Frost as many seem to think.
If Turd is canning Gerrod, it’s probably a “stay in your lane” type of move. From what I’ve gathered, Alberts is pretty big on staffers having a clearly defined role, and if there’s one thing that doesn’t make sense about Gerrod’s role, it is that he probably had a role in too many individual facets of the program.

I wonder if Gerrod was giving Frost advice on how how to respond to the media which lead to some of Frosts self inflicted wounds. I can’t imagine Gerrod would have that much influence though

This move is essentially irrelevant. GL wasn’t hurting or helping the play on the field.

Its kind of entertaining after the hundreds of @TraditionCoalition posts about him the last 6 months. I had no idea he existed prior to that.
