Agree. And Matt is horrible. Only listen to segments for a couple of guest. BC and Schaefer. Sam McKeon is actually good as a guest but better with Benning and Lulla.Benning and lulla have the best husker football discussions out of anyone

I just lose patience because it takes so long for DB to get to the point sometimes.Benning and lulla have the best husker football discussions out of anyone
Vershaun Jackson is horribleThats the only show on 93.7 that's listenable. The others are all terrible.
When he first started at The Ticket he went on a long incoherent rant about how Adrian Martinez lied about having a broken jaw and that was the first and last time I listened to him.Vershaun Jackson is horrible
1. Grind into a creamy consistencyI'm still at a loss for words just how many Americans haven't learned how to eat peanuts. I could probably go on about it for 15 minutes, but I'd be preaching to the choir.
haha sounds like a gay porn sitcom @Jim14510Huge fan of Gary Sharp and always have been.
Gary and Matt is effectively awful. There’s 15 minutes of every segment where Matt goes off and talks about literally nothing.
I constantly have to ask “What the fuck am I listening to?”
As I’m typing this up they’re talking about how to eat peanuts and have been for the last 15 minutes.

Holy crap. What an idiot. When he first started at The Ticket he went on a long incoherent rant about how Adrian Martinez lied about having a broken jaw and that was the first and last time I listened to him.
Couldn't agree more with this. Every time I listen in my car, by myself, I say out loud, "Shut the fuck up!". It blows my mind that he has the job he has. He's not ready, and has no sense of when to let others speak or finish their thoughts before he interrupts. There’s 15 minutes of every segment where Matt goes off and talks about literally nothing.

I get that Gary and Nick were too similar and that show was sterile, but it was definitly more coherant and listenable. The new iterration of the morning show is BAD!
I think that's the case.Is that industry just more and more volatile or what? It seems like the hosts play musical chairs like every year and a half now.
I think since anyone can start a podcast now, their jobs are becoming less and less important. If you think about a decade ago, I would listen to 1620 to get Husker insights and other things. Now, how many Nebraska podcasts are there with guests or hosts that are/were former players? There's 3 radio shows that have former players hosting them. So now it comes down to do you want to spend your time listening to Gary and Matt discuss other sports? Because they aren't bringing inside info or any groundbreaking thoughts when it comes to Husker athletics. You basically just have them hosting a show where Sam McKewon calls in to give his thoughts. Their best segments are recruiting guys calling in to say how that is going, but if you have a membership to On3 or 247 you are getting all the info they are saying anyway. Is that industry just more and more volatile or what? It seems like the hosts play musical chairs like every year and a half now.
