Fidone made a pretty solid play to spin, avoid the tackle, and get to the 1. Most dudes go down at the 4-5 yard line there.

It was decent, but IMHO, just a bit slow on it all. He takes a long time too often to spin, then instead of just getting upfield, he is trying to set up jukes and moves he can't do.

You are a very big TE - stop juking and get upfield.

Ultimately, a lot of this just might be having two major knee injuries and having to ru with a big knee brace on. Would slow anyone down some. He is still a pretty decent player. I just want a more explosive yard gainer at TE, and Carter will be that.

This is why I don't like going too hard to block punts. Will get more roughing calls than blocks.

And I do love blocking punts - we used to be one of the best at it. It has to be done at a better angle. Not at the kicker, at where the ball ultimately will leave his foot. I know that game is fast and these are snap things, but this is why, unless you have a really salty guy who is quick as hell and has the IQ to know what to do, and more importantly NOT to do, it is playing with fire.
