Just thought of this on a Monday morning. So back in June 2019, there were a few posts on HOL about the "Platinum Board". Well, at the time, I was only about a year in to HOL so really any new term like that I thought some holy place that like only super ridiculous important people could be apart of, and I was super hungry for information at the time so I tried every route I could think of to try and get to the "Platinum Board". So, on twitter one day, I went and IMd Nate Clouse and asked him about it and how I could get on there and told him I'd pay more than the HOL site to make it happen if I needed to........he never responded lol


Just a small chuckle to start everyone's week. Have a great Monday boys and girls!

Around the same time, a poster named Tommie Frazier commented on something saying like "this is Platinum Board material only" and I hopped on that shit so fast thinking he was actually Tommie and I was like "how can I get on there?" His response was "if you have to ask, you're not invited" lol

And that was just it lol it was a trio of the name, the photo, and the way it was worded based on what others have said about him. My gut was like “could that really be him?”

OP makes me realize why some people on this message board don't understand my jokes or references because I have been banned from the RSS since 2016 and so people from the RSS would come to the MB and play with the big boys.


Sad. I personally feel the My Little Pony thread was a much less divisive than the RSS and the posters were/are much closer e-friends than anybody on the RSS or MB.


I had no idea people were still joining or new people going to the RSS. They weren't there for SIA or HTO or LouisianaHusker making Dawson County look bad (which is hard to do) or JoRoWi Dart League or Kelly Clarkson using the bathroom or the time Mike Matya looked up the billing information of a poster and then gave their name to Pelini so he could corner him in the basement of the Cornhusker and scream at him with a State Trooper and Carl standing by as muscle.


I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Pretty off topic but a Husker-related funny story that also involves Gate 25. Seems like a good place to post it.

A few years ago, probably 2016 or 2017, I was in the Railyard/Gate 25 getting annihilated on Husker game day. I was waiting in line for the bathroom and at this point in the day, the lines were getting long. A group of drunk girls cut in front of probably 20 dudes for the men’s bathroom. I felt the despair of these guys as I could see they were all sighing and said, “cunts, am I right?” to one of the dudes.

As soon as the girls got out of the stall, one of the girls in the group asked “are you the one who called us a cunt?” and then proceeded to give me one punch me to the face.

the heydays for message boards were like from 2003-2015, the MB and the RSS are shells of what they once were

thats why I am so surprised there are new people because by 2016/17 it felt like nobody new was joining and slowly but surely more and more people stopped posting and canceled their rivals sub (thats what I did in March of 2020, had a rivals sub since 2007 just not worth my time anymore)

Having to know you since we had the Kirkman’s round in 2007, then rediscovering you on a message board has been truly hilarious.

Side note: Rivals is nothing of what it used to be, especially after Clouse was gone.
