I’ll have to watch the tape. But I really don’t recall a single one of their dangerous attacks starting down the flank. I really don’t think it was a single thing THEY did that made them dangerous to be honest. This isn’t a defense of anyone. I can’t stand Berkhalter at all. I just personally don’t think that LVG out-witted anyone today. Him claiming he did is absolutely stupid.

Probably nothing outside of sitting back and letting us overcommit numbers forward

I feel like 2026 we will be a top 10 team. I just don’t think we have the youth dev systems echoing what Germany, Italy and England do yet. It’s rapidly improving with premier leagues and la Liga teams investing in USA youth.

I would say in 15 -18 years we have an opportunity to be a top 6 power which would be huge.

I still feel like USSF can’t get out of its own way though and we could be further along. Hope we can bring in a manager that can tactically maximize the young talent.
