We wanted swagger, we wanted a “Nebraska guy that ‘gets it’” & isn’t phony, someone who bleeds Nebraska Red (unlike Pelini who was just into himself).
So we got what we wanted & he’s as far from phoney with the narrative that you could get. I’ll take an asshole who speaks his mind & wants the same thing I want (Nebraska to be great again) of a politically correct robot who is either gutless & a complete fake.

EVERYONE who sees a guy transfer 2x in 5 months without personal issues driving the decision will look at that & say “wow, entitled much”
The McCaffreys may be NFL royalty but if u look at any family of monarchs most are complete entitled twats. Odd thing is Ed coached Luke in HS even he didn’t start him FT at QB until his Sr yr when there was no other option. Weird they think Luke should walk onto a college campus & start without actually winning the job & showing he can handle it.

I want Frost to be successful because I want Nebraska to be good. Not sure why he can’t avoid putting his foot in his mouth or at the very least talking about former players in a nearly blatant/obvious way.

We are seriously taking about one piece of one sentence within one public appearance he’s contractually obligated to go to that he probably gave 45 second answers to 30 questions during.

The only reason anyone really cares is because Mitch Sherman decided to be a muck-raking, clout-chasing, piece of garbage journo that nobody likes and blow this way out of proportion.

He didn’t even say Luke’s name and his brothers are all up in arms. How do they know Frost wasn’t talking about Keyshawn Greene?

Exactly. If Riley came in and won 9-games year one and made an upward trajectory afterwards (making the B1G championship year 2, possibly winning it year 3 or 4) I could give 2 rips if he was Mr. Rogers or Arrogant Saban. Just win baby!

I was there for over 15 years. I do not consider any of the Nebraska coaches as being among the top celebrities that I knew-was partnered with or hunted with. Having drinks or being at functions with them was not even considered a big event.
