How can you defend any of this? He's been a head coach for over 6 years. Every coach knows how Social Media and the Mainstream Media will run with something like this. At least every coach but ours yet some of the fanbase wants to defend his comments. He needs to come out and correct the statement and sound genuine about it. This dumbfuck reporter. Stringer took 3-4x the recommended amount of ephedra on a day that heat indexes were near 110 degrees. A recommended dose of ephedra raises resting heart rate around 15 beats per minute and blood pressure anywhere from 11-17 mmHg. At 335 pounds that was a recipe for death, even standing outside in that heat index with that amount of ephedra/caffeine in his system would cause heat stroke.
