Football IQ check

Unless i have Orlando Pace at Left Tackle i’d be getting rid of it pretty fast

Trick question, u follow the Tommy Armstrong progression & YOLO that shit to the moon

This is a fun scenario. If Tommy Armstrong is your QB:

1a. F, 1b, Y. Then role out and delay the play for a second or two, dodge a defender and pick whichever WR is farthest down the field.

Looks like Y is your primary receiver and Z is the check down so I'm going Y, F, X, Z

How deep that CB sits will depend on whether I'm going X or Z

I was actually thinking the other day that Madden needs to have a game feature that teaches people concepts and how to read formations against the plays you run

Let’s see who really knows their shit.

Triangle read for the qb. Hi/Lo the corner with the drag coming into the QBs vision. So corner to whip to drag. But if you’re getting cover 2. QB better be throwing the corner at a max of 25 yards OB unless the corner is being a real butthole and playing the corner and looking to rally the whip. Drag access is good late as long as the drag can clear the LB.

You posted this a second before I could say the exact same thing.

Couldn’t tell the letters well from my phone. But I’d teach it as Y, Z and X. Maybe peak the F if the $ bites. But he shouldn’t unless he sucks in a cover 2. But I’m not a progression guy. More of Dan Gonzalez concept passing. So I’d teach corner to LB read. That’s it. Get the ball out. Especially with a full boot. If it was pure dropback. Then you’d have a hi/lo on the backside LB with the post (would dig though) and rb check down.

I'm pretty sure this is English and given a week or two I could totally understand it.

Such a simple question, OP.. can’t even dignify it with an answer
I'm actually Scott Satterfield just want to make sure this board is legit.

For real tho my original take was that the read for the QB with out knowing coverage would be YZFX going high to low on the strong side and then back to weak side. As soon as the QB see's cover 2 that would theoretically take Y & Z out of the play as Y will be covered by the safety shading to the numbers deep and Z taken out by Corner in the flat. His read then would then first be F deep in the seam between the safeties, if that's not there then hope X is clear of the linebackers on the drag. 3rd option is QB scramble, 4th option is throw it away to the sideline.
