No but he is a folk hero from around the same time to a much bigger and more rapid fan base.

I love the Turmanator! I agree he has a special place in NU folklore. My pt in the Foley brother is sometimes the good players at bad FB schools stand out more than good players at blue bloods.

If you were 5th in Heisman voting for Alabama, Georgia or Texas, you're just another guy there. If you were 5th in Heisman voting for a Boston College, that's a huge deal because it's so rare there.
