I've watched every playoff & a lot of bowl games and for every good SEC and B1G team, the announcers go "he's one of the top FG kickers in the nation" when they trot their guy out.

Literally every good SEC/B1G team this has happened.
And then there's Nebraska.

Do people really think these AC’s have been on 1 year contracts? Pretty certain it’s standard operating procedure to extend by a year annually. I’d be floored if any of these guys have been on expiring contracts.

All? No.

Others like Foley? Yes.

We know White had his contract adjusted following the 2023 season. And it made sense. Others, like Foley or Satt - it made/makes no sense and if he did extend them, then Rhule should face some serious heat.

Old Deano is pretty insistent that the assistants are on 2 or 3 year rolling deals and Nebraska pays out the remainder for firing them so I guess I too would be surprised if Foley is out of contract right now.

Not that I don't think Dean is possibly wrong, but Uncle Donny would be expired now too which seems like it's no bueno
