I was at that game from NJ.Lord throwing a pick against Texas in 2002 to seal the loss was the first time I ever saw Nebraska lose in person and one of the most fun games I've been to
^^^This for me ^^^While it was a crushing loss that still haunts me, the 94 Orange Bowl made me believe that we were on the verge of championships.
Nebraska was a 17 point underdog. I thought they'd lose but keep it to a TD or so. However, once the game started NU was the aggressor and FSU was rattled. Turd played out of his mind with one arm, Tommie outplayed Charlie, the offense started to move the ball and I thought we had them. We outplayed them and ultimately got screwed by bad calls.
Sucked to lose but you could tell this was a different team.
Was this the game when Crouch almost got his head ripped off from an uncalled face mask? For one that I attended in person it would have to be 2000 vs KSU in Manhattan. That was an all around fun game from start to finish and a close loss 29-28. Started sleeting then snowing like a motherfucker in the 4th quarter. Nebraska had a chance to get into field goal range but crouch missed his receiver on 4th down (badly overthrown)
It was tough to type that out because 99% of grape fans were unbearable douches in that era, most if not all still are. @slattimer Can attest to that statement.
I honestly think that was the first loss I saw in person too. You could hear a pin drop after that int. It was a fun game up until then.Lord throwing a pick against Texas in 2002 to seal the loss was the first time I ever saw Nebraska lose in person and one of the most fun games I've been to
Seriously the most frustrating game of all time for me.My fav lost was Cockeyes St in Lincoln when Nebraska lost 9-7 and we had 9 turnovers
We had the smugest michigan fan sitting next to us constantly making dumbass fucking remarks the whole game. After Allen scored in the 4th to put us up it was fucking electric, but I just knew we'd blow it. Was infuriating, like waiting for a train crash. At least I was trashed, and am able to hit my dab pen in the restrooms up in the 600s. Kept me from dropping that fucking doosh nozzle2021 Michigan simply because I seriously thought with about 7 left the defense would put the clamps on and we’d go home winners. I was wrong. But that feeling in the stadium had to be magical for a time.

That may be the most pissed off I've been at a sporting event ever. We fucking started inside their 20 like 42 times. My fav lost was Cockeyes St in Lincoln when Nebraska lost 9-7 and we had 9 turnovers
That was 1998, the first season under Solich and the first time Snyder beat Nebraska. Was this the game when Crouch almost got his head ripped off from an uncalled face mask?
I agree it was the start of the 90s dynasty. While it was a crushing loss that still haunts me, the 94 Orange Bowl made me believe that we were on the verge of championships.

By the 4th quarter, consensus in the stadium was that Bo should have kicked a field goal on 1st down inside their 20 to just take the leadThat may be the most pissed off I've been at a sporting event ever. We fucking started inside their 20 like 42 times.

We turned it over in the redzone like 4-5 times & they had their backup QB in who only made one big pass to give em the lead.My fav lost was Cockeyes St in Lincoln when Nebraska lost 9-7 and we had 9 turnovers
