Fwiw I know most of these analytic tools give the HC/OC/DC grades that are basically +/- WAR. I don't know how FPI does it. I know Chins grades very well on most.

I also know they struggle with teams that are good offense and defense and historically bad special teams.
I had a buddy in the Gambling/Book Making Industry. He said they accounted for coaches when putting Spreads together. Told me that Dave Wannstedt was a -3 when he was coaching in the NFL, meaning they felt he cost his team 3 points/game with poor coaching.

What'd they say about Frosty? Or is it truly had vs. have?

How does FPI incorporate incompetent coaching? Unless that’s factored in this means nothing.

4-8.

Are you strictly talking about Frost? Because the defensive staff has held up their end of the deal thus far and we have a brand new offensive staff. I mean, I'm pretty critical of the Raiola hire, but that's just because of a lack of any experience not because he is necessarily an incompetent coach.

McClintok has us at #35 in his rankings. Wiscy is at #18. Cockeye is at #10 - Cockeye does have a lot of returning starters if I recall.
