Early Signing Day Thread

So at this point, the unknowns are:

Barry Jackson (commit, but in doubt - announcement at 6)
Vincent Carroll-Jackson (supposed to announce at 2)
Eric Fields (no announcement time set)
Cameron Lenhardt (announcing 1/3 at the All-American game, possible silent commit today)

Likely out:
Ethan Nation
Kyron Jones

I believe that's all the potential Husker-related activity for '23 today. Jeudy also maybe announcing as a transfer.
Have you seen anything saying Ethan Nation is out? All the Rivals guys have is that he is announcing at the Under Armour game on 1/3 and that they do not have a good read on him. They weren't comfortable giving a prediction for him.

This is Dean... I thought I heard a similar prediction from someone else, but can't recall who:

Transfer

Just came here to say this same sentiment

Gotta be pleased with the class they pulled in with limited time, limited staff working, and inheriting an absolute TRAINWRECK. 4th in the B1G is absolutely acceptable - behind Fuckeyes, State Penn, and Michigan

Top 30 in the country in this scenario - absolutely acceptable.

Meanwhile PRIME sits at 9th in the Pac12. I expect their transfer class to be top notch though.

So what did we end up with for OL as far as immediate impact guys? God knows what we left off with cannot protect our QB this next season or Raiola the following one.

Gottula, Knutson, Sledge, Goldman, & Maciejczak signed today. Transfers aren't tied to signing day, though.
Gotcha. Thought they signed for some reason. So when is a transfer official for the winter semester? When enrolled?
And do we have any transfer OL commits that should start?

Ngoya signing with ISU doesn’t bother me because he stayed loyal to his original commitment. I really believe some of those who committed elsewhere may regret the decision once this staff is in place and rolling. We will see a few transfer back, if there is room.

they are going to realize that this season is closer to the real Matt Campbell than the past few were. Looking at what Breece Hall and Brock Purdy are doing in the NFL this year explains a lot about ISU's success a couple years ago
