I fully believe this is what Knighton's "Yesterday's Price" tweet was about. It wasn't about Jones finding his worth, as some posters implied. It was about the fact that the price to be a Husker was about to go way up, and Knighton knew it. Get on the tractor or get left behind.

He was allowed to because he's joining UGA for their bowl practices after their semester is officially over (end of this week). That was part of the plan with Raiola there as well.
