I think Shorts is a sneaky good higher after doing some digging. Obviously developed Tank, but he also developed Matt Golden who has be pretty good for Texas this year (8 TDs and 576 yards). Key has played well for UK with 715 yards and 2 TDs. Sam Brown has been serviceable for Miami this year, as well.

My only question about him is recruiting, 247 only lists 2 recruits (granted both are 4-stars).

Wonder if he can get Dejerrian Miller to come with him in the '25 class; kid had 1200 yards rushing and 13 TDs last year and 936 yards receiving and 8 TDs this year.

I think there should be a premium on the ability to coach over the ability to recruit with the House decision coming down the pipe and it becoming more of a transactional, pro model of talent acquisition.
