Freezing rain. Slippery like you wouldn't believe. Almost hit 2 vehicles going out a corner by our house literally going about 3 MPH. Circled one block to get back home & saw 2-3 accidents.

My aunt and uncle where going between Lincoln and Omaha for one of my cousins wrestling meets. They pulled off the road at the Ashland exit? because it was getting bad. Some guy came flying down the road lost control smashed into them and put their newer full size pickup in the ditch on its side. They went to the hospital with minor injuries but should be ok besides a totalled truck.

My poor aunt its only been a couple years ago a lady rear-ended her and totalled her suv and she had to go to the hospital for that too.

Reminds me of a time in college before finals. Was working late parked near the college of architecture building. The ice was so bad I couldn't even back out of my parking spot because street was slightly sloped to the gutter. Slept in our studio room.

I should add the truck that was totalled today was what they bought to replace the suv that was totalled before. My aunt was stopped for that one too because there had been a crash in front of her and they were waiting to go around.
