But it's really not. If he made it privately then I agree. Publicly you have to take into consideration how it could be received. Wrong place for sarcasm/joking.
You don’t think Cooper knows how that is going to be perceived by his player? Pretty sure he does and why he is comfortable in tweeting it.

But that's the point. Coop knows nobody will have context and should know many people will react to it without said context.
And that's fine. If people want to comment on or judge something they know nothing about, that's on them, but it's a waste of their energy and has zero effect on the actual conversation being had between two people. I understand this is in a public forum, but I also don't get worked up over conversations I overhear while in public, either. Because that's dumb.

Agree with all of that. Still think Coop shouldn't have done it.

This may be hard to believe but somehow I don’t think he cares what you think about it.

Also it’s not like Coop is saying that his guy doesn’t have talent. He’s calling him out for not doing basic shit like showing up on time. Show up on time if you don’t want to get called out 🤷🏼‍♂️

Idk about most people but I cringe when I see ghey tweets like this. The tweet is meant to make people think"This kid has his head on straight. He's being patient even though he's not playing. Attaboy".

I especially cringe IF I know the guy posting it is full of shit (i.e. late to meetings and workouts consistently). Problem is we don't know if this is tongue-in-cheek or what.

I fully accept that he doesn't care what I think. Don't take me saying that I don't think he should tweet somethint like this means I care. I have little to no opinion of him before or after the tweet.

He's a public person. He should care what the general public thinks. If Syncere's tweet called him out publicly his response is more warranted. If he doesn't reply then Syncere's tweet is just saying he's going to keep working hard even though he's not playing right now.

It's not a big deal but calling out players publicly/appearing to call them out publicly doesn't generally go over well.
