Breaking Colorado to the Big 12

I could see Oregon having a good chance of dominating a Big 12 conference with OU and Texass out of the picture and with their donor base and B12 payout. Of course they would have a good chance of dominating a diminished Pac12 too…..but it would have less relevance in a playoff picture than winning the Big 12

The B12 would be a coast to coast league to match the B10
Coast to coast but without the clout and big fan bases.

The Big 12 isn't a bad stop gap for Oregon and Washington. Assuming they can avoid a heinously long grant of rights (lol @ACC) , they can get another bite at the apple down the road.

what I didn’t know was the TV deal & GOR is expiring for the P12 so no exit fees. Colorado, Arizona, Utah, & ASU to Big 12 gives em 16 & Oregon/Washington to big ten gives us a couple west coast teams to go with USC/UCLA & at this point they probably happily take a partial payout til the numbers add up

could be interesting for sure if that happens.

Reported they will receive the full share of the $31.7million and there is a sleeper team moving to the big 12 as well maybe they announce later today
So Arizona? Can't see Washington and Oregon jumping for the Big 12 when they can suck up to the B1G for some invites.

This is actually a pretty amazing move by CU. Nothing about their sports programs makes them all that attractive to another conference, and yet they figured out a way to be the first Pac school to protect themselves against the possibility of the conference imploding.
