Coaching Board

I would disagree. People aren’t stupid - well some are. Four losing seasons in a row, legend player or not, you aren’t going to get much sympathy for being fired. You might get 10% of the fans that think he should get more time and are upset. The only people that really matter are the big-time donors.

The blowback comes if you hire someone like Mike Riley, or the hiring process is run in a Pederson manner.
This is my thought exactly. I actually think it's pretty straight forward. Frost has his 4th straight sub .500 season. Who nationally is going to disagree with that fire? This isn't a Solich or Pelini type of fire where they weren't just good enough - Frost is just downright failing.

I'm not worried at all about attracting a different coach.

Coaches around the country can see why Frost would be fired. Trust me, lots of them would like $3-5 million to come here and fix the punt coverage team.

I realize I'm simplifying things a bit but the whole world can see what's going on here and who is to blame. It ain't "the media" or "high expectations".
Even Scott would have to admit that completely average or subminimum expectations aren't even being met currently.

Someone will want to come here and no coach worth a crap will complain that Nebraska fans expect his team to be able to kick extra points or field punts correctly.
