So we can put the Chins -> UCLA to bed.
Only raised to 850k I thought he should be a 1 mil DC.

I mean analytically his defenses have improved 19% YOY for his entire time as a DC(UCF & Nebraska). That is why I value him.I don't think he's a 1mil DC at all. People forget that 2021 was really the first decent defense he's had here.
I think his defenses have improved each year. This year will be a telling year with the losses of some key pieces. I think he's done a good job of adapting the defense to the personnel, basically moving to more even front and utilizing his dudes up front. Still elements of odd. As long as Rodgers and T-Rob stay healthy, I think they'll still be solid up front.I don't think he's a 1mil DC at all. People forget that 2021 was really the first decent defense he's had here.
Secondary will be interesting. They have a lot of great pieces back there on paper, but no clue how they fit together.I think his defenses have improved each year. Agree that this year will tell us a lot. There's a yuuuuge dropoff from Rogers & Ty to their backups so I'm pretty worried about how our DL might perform.I think his defenses have improved each year. Weren’t people raving about weaver and Buckley? Maybe there’s a shot at them making a splashAgree that this year will tell us a lot. There's a yuuuuge dropoff from Rogers & Ty to their backups so I'm pretty worried about how our DL might perform.
People are excited about them, but they're really raw. Weaver has a lot of work to do - think of Daniels as a freshman and multiply that a few times.Weren’t people raving about weaver and Buckley? Maybe there’s a shot at them making a splash
I posted this on RSS over a year ago in a “Fire Chins” thread telling people that firing him would be the stupidest move ever because almost every ranking in every metric improved during his first 3 years essentially from the 110’s the year before he took over, to the 90’s his first year, 70’s his second year, and 50’s his third year and got absolutely roasted for it.I mean analytically his defenses have improved 19% YOY for his entire time as a DC(UCF & Nebraska). Not me, but I’ve been on the coaster of firing the QB coach since after year. And I was right, but it took until year 4.I posted this on RSS over a year ago in a “Fire Chins” thread telling people that firing him would be the stupidest move ever because almost every ranking in every metric improved during his first 3 years essentially from the 110’s the year before he took over, to the 90’s his first year, 70’s his second year, and 50’s his third year and got absolutely roasted for it.
If any of you dumb fucks from that thread are here now, I hold grudges and am eagerly awaiting reparations in the form of a sincere apology or titty pics of your wives.
I probably supported you in that thread...if I was still around then. Hope that helps.I posted this on RSS over a year ago in a “Fire Chins” thread telling people that firing him would be the stupidest move ever because almost every ranking in every metric improved during his first 3 years essentially from the 110’s the year before he took over, to the 90’s his first year, 70’s his second year, and 50’s his third year and got absolutely roasted for it.

I wasn't in that thread, but I caution you on thumping your chest over Chins just yet. I fully expect to see some "fire Chins!!" posts during the 2022 season. Could get ugly for this defense at times given what we are losing and the lack of players capable of filling those roles (right now).I posted this on RSS over a year ago in a “Fire Chins” thread telling people that firing him would be the stupidest move ever because almost every ranking in every metric improved during his first 3 years essentially from the 110’s the year before he took over, to the 90’s his first year, 70’s his second year, and 50’s his third year and got absolutely roasted for it.

I fully expect to take at least a small step back but he has improved his side of the ball dramatically since he’s been here.I wasn't in that thread, but I caution you on thumping your chest over Chins just yet. I would get drunk and post ridiculous shit hammered about Chinander running Cover 1 on every third down like clockwork. I’ve heard directly from the mouth of a staff member that they’re very, very excited about Weaver.Weren’t people raving about weaver and Buckley? Maybe there’s a shot at them making a splash
I think we're going to miss Corch Tuioti a lot.Agree that this year will tell us a lot. There's a yuuuuge dropoff from Rogers & Ty to their backups so I'm pretty worried about how our DL might perform.
