CFB Expansion Talk

I'm guessing the reason why USC contacted the Big 10 is because of this:

“Reason B1G turned away abruptly from Conf changing to 8 Conf gms and possibly no divisions has now become clear.”

Help me with this part here.
Theyd have more teams and 9 games would be a necessity to make sure that teams played each other regularly enough? I guess.

I don’t know this guy and he does not sound reliable.
It's comically absurd to suggest USC would go to the SEC and also highly unlikely they'd want to go to the B10.

USC's alumni base has no interest in either and would be pissed to ditch their West Coast counterparts. The school isn't hurting for cash and will be happy when Lincoln Riley gets things rolling.

I also think the CFB world needs to be reminded that things are cyclical. It was not long ago that USC, Oregon and Stanford were concurrently in the top 10. Rewriting the CFB maps because of a downturn in a conference is quite the reactionary decision.

What if collective bargaining was believed to be inevitable? I don’t 100% believe this guy but there’s something these schools are looking at & there’s more to it than NIL or conference success on the field.

Making 40-60 million less in revenue seems like a good reason to get out of the PAC

BIG needs to add USC and Notre Dame. That would be a good counter to what the SEC has did recently.
Maybe they can finally force Norte Dames hand

And then start adding ACC teams in the future when ACCs media rights expire
