OU fans will send him Venables I’m sure.

I have found it interesting that Golding stuck around at Bama so long while the OC role was in constant turnover. The fact that he never was offered a HC gig (that I'm aware of) and that he's leaving for a (at best) lateral move makes me believe he's not in that elite class of coordinator you would expect at Bama.

And I agree, you have to imagine Saban is going to make a big splash here.
