It’s definitely a risk, but he’s fighting Canelo at the right time. Punch output is down, and Bud will have a significant speed advantage. Hopefully that carries the day..

He does at his former weight, but I do have to wonder if the added weight does what it does to nearly all fighters.

The good news is that Canelo isn’t a constantly aggressive pressure fighter that is always moving forward with high volume anymore. Bud isn’t going to have to move a ton and should still retain a speed advantage

I get the money end of things. I don’t know if it’s accurate, but I’d read he’s getting $60 million.

I’d fight about anybody for $60 million.

Probably his only option to fight Canelo was at this weight. And yeah for $60mm with maybe a chance to win take it!
